Badly worn bearing journals causing inconsistent rubber thickness on Gum Calender Cooling Drum in tire plant.
BHQ Solution:
Headco Machine Works picked up cooling drum, metalized bearing journals and re-machined. Also repaired drive sprocket and shaft at drive sprocket for proper operation.
Benefit and Cost Savings:
Customer doesn’t need to spend extra amount of $25,000.00 for additional precision cooling drum.
